There is a bead at the end of the wire. Every hook in this set is clearly labeled on the handle for easy identification and selection. - TUNISIAN/AFGHAN BAMBOO HOOKS: Tunisian crochet or Afghan crochet uses a lightweight elongated needle hook. They are sometimes considered to be a mixture of crocheting and knitting. Some techniques used in knitting are also applicable in Tunisian crochet. The hooks in this set are made from bleached bamboo wood which has no rough edges for a smooth finish.
